Another fantastic product. We have so much fun with this and it opens up lots of conversation and different senses. The tin is such a good size it fits in my hand bag, his bag, my pocket and makes boring walks really fun! My son always asks us to take the tin out on a walk with us.
Becki –
Well what can I say…This is a little miracle in a tin! The cards got my very reluctant little walker out of the house and enjoying the outdoors again. Perfect for setting fun tasks and giving little ones focus and drive to keep walking. The cards are educational too. They were packaged well and arrived in good time. Its great that the cards are in a tin as it will keep them neat and safe.
Kate –
Fab little tin of tasks for the great outdoors! My little explorer has loved trying out some of the activities on recent trips. The cards come in a handy pocket sized tin which can be slotted into coat and rucksack pockets with ease and ensures protection from the elements! These would make a super little gift on their own or maybe bundled with a new pair of wellies, rain coat, a bubble wand or a children’s book such as ‘Stickman’ or ‘Not a stick’. My mini adventurer is a chatterbox so it’s been refreshing to drop in some new conversation starters off the cards too!
Fiona –
We LOVE this product! It revolutionised out muddy lockdown walks and worked as well for our 10 year old as they did for our 6 year old! Easy to slip in your pocket and make any walk long or short much more enjoyable! Thoroughly recommend!
Amy –
LOVE THESE. They have kept us busy out on walks and all 3 boys can join in together. Great to keep them distracted when you know they’re gonna start flagging. Arrived quickly. There’s a lot more content than I expected.
Ceri –
Lovely set and a perfect size to slip into your coat pocket on a walk. I think me and my husband got just as much entertainment from them as our five year old! These are going on holiday with us for sure! Ohhh there’s an idea for you: a holiday edition! Fast delivery with beautiful packaging. Thank you!
Nadia –

This is my favourite tin, the children love them and the cards can be used over and over again. Love the fact they are colour coded with having 3 children of different ages, my eldest loves taking the lead (which gives me a bit of breathing space too) fabulous.
Kathryn –
We love this tin! There are some great games in there, we’ve played them in restaurants, on car journeys – it’s designed for walking but there are lots of things you can do anywhere.
Lucy –
We have loved these brilliant Walk and Wonder cards, so small and handy when out and about! They have really help to start some great conversations and some fun activities, before they know it the kids have walked so much further than they thought they could, a win win!!

Such innovative ideas and so motivating for our little ones- we haven’t done 1/4 of the cards and have used them on a number of walks…. these have given me lots of ideas for car journeys and supermarket shops too. Think I might buy a few as gifts- what a fab birthday presents hat will just keep giving!

I recently bought the Walk and Wonder activity cards as a gift for my friend’s little girl, after discovering the Happy Home Learning page on Facebook. I am thrilled with them – very professionally produced in a really cute little tin which easily fits into a little hand or pocket. So much fun and inspiration in one little tin. My friend cannot wait to take her daughter out exploring with them.

I recently purchased the ‘Walk and Wonder’ cards. They arrived very quickly. I have been using the cards regularly with the children at the Forest School nursery that I work at. The tin size is perfect for little hands to hold or pop in a pocket. There are a great variety of suggested activities, most of which require no equipment, suitable for all age groups. I would thoroughly recommend this product to anyone who wants to encourage children to spend more time outdoors engaging with nature or make a walk more interesting.
Katy –
Such fun ideas to keep young ones entertained on walks. Great idea, and lovely little tin so they are easy to pop in your bag.

My 7 and 9 year old have loved these cards. We are walking the Wainwright’s and tend to get these out on the way back – using the games for added momentum. Lots of educational content – I must say, I’ve learned something too!!! We’ve been using some of the activities to help make homework fun outside. Really pretty tin, perfect size. Shall be buying more for gifts. Thank you!
Heather –
The walk and wonder activity arrived very quickly and carefully packaged. I have now used these walking activity prompts while out with my Grandchildren, and they love the fun walks which we’ve shared together. I thoroughly recommend this product to anyone looking for fun in the outdoors. Great to give as a gift too.
Hannah –
A beautifully crafted product which is able to be adapted across the age ranges of my children! A wonderful sized box which is an easy edition to take out on walks or leave in a glovebox of a car. A high quality product which I would really recommend! Educational, practical and FUN!

Much more in here than expected. We’ve used them on lots of walks and some of the games when waiting in queues but we haven’t had chance to use all the activities yet! I like that you don’t need additional items. They fit in your pocket and will get a lot of use.
Jodie –
Thank you so much for this little tin of wonder. We keep it in our walking rucksack and it offers great entertainment just when we need it. Love the educational angle, so my 6 and 8 year old are learning without realising it. I’m definitely going to purchase your other tins too.

We recently bought some of these nature cards for my 3 boys. My youngest is 6 and eldest is 14. The cards are brilliant, not only on a walk where distractions is sometimes key but also in the car and anytime I can them to put down screens. There’s so much information, fun and games in one tin. They are learning so much in a really fun way. Such a fabulous product. Thank you Nicola
Alex –
My daughter (aged 4) and I had a lovely time using the walk and wonder cards on a recent walk. Loads of fabulous ideas to keep little ones motivated and engaged on a walk. Freya managed over 5 miles and loved looking for objects to collect and take home, using her magnifying glass to look more closely at them. When we got home, we did lots of counting in different ways of all the things she had found. Thanks for the lovely ideas, Nicola… we’re looking forward to trying more of them out on future walks!
Karmini –
We all love the Happy Home Learning Walk and Wonder cards – perfect for popping in a pocket / bag when ideas are needed to help little legs along. These have helped our 4 year old up her first 2 wainwright fells (& back to the car)!
HUGE thanks to Nicola for the Happy Home Learning Facebook pages – full of ideas and helpful advice.

These ideas are excellent. I love the dinky size of the tin – I can keep it in my bag and regularly get it out. I use the activities before I start my therapeutic work with children; playing outside and immersing ourselves in nature helps me build attachment and trust before I begin the sessions with families.
